Deck Description

Quite plainly, this is a reanimation deck. Utilize cards such as entomb and buried alive to get your powerful creatures into your graveyard, which can the act as a toolbox.
This temporary stop in the graveyard can be remedied by cards such as Diabolic Dervitude, Animate Dead and Sheoldred, Whispering One.

It is possible to get your best creature in turn 2. (Entomb then Animate Dead OR Reanimate)

Each creature has its uses:
Sphinx of the Steel Wind:
-Provides a powerful creature which can restore your life total.
-Protection from red means it is out of reach of burn spells, and as it is part black and artifact, it is immune to Doom Blade and Go for the Throat.

Blazing Archon:
-Great to prevent green tides.

Crosis, The Purger:
-Instantly removes mono-coloured decks from the game, and can thwart combos.

Verdant Force:
-Obtains creatures to sacrifice (i.e. for flashback on Dread Return).
-Great to create chump-blockers.

Maelstrom Archangel:
-Useful for casting those spells you just can't seem to find the mana for.

Thraximundar:
-Forces your opponent to sacrifice their own creatures, which you can then reanimate for yourself.

Sheoldred, Whispering One:
-This one is fairly obvious.

Avatar of Woe:
-Same as Thraximundar, except you choose the target.

Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur (thanks to XmasAsn)
-Reduce your opponents hand to zero and keep your draw up, making it easier to entomb your creatures and reanimate them.

Deck discussion for Necromantic Summonings

Not bad, look into using Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur. If you can drop him on turn 2 you will speed up your draw, dumping your toolbox and then drop your opponent's hand two Zero.

Gitaxias can be brought on to the battlefield on turn one.........Dark Ritual/Entomb(in order to put him on graveyard) and last but not least :D Exhume or animate dead......... :D :D :D After that i think that the game is OVER......u can do what ever u want ;-) Just imagine to play first and have in your hand ritual/entomb/exhume or animate dead :D
