Land ramp and cast mega creatures.
Took ideas from a few different decks, it's hardly original, but I feel like the Cloudshift mechanic does some interesting/unique things.Started as an idea for Woodfall Primus, to cast him with Through the Void because that's just brutal. Especially if you can mana ramp up to that move on turn 3 or 4, totally nasty. Then Cloudshift seemed like a good way to further abuse both Primus, and Through the Void--for instance, cast Griselbrand w/ Through the Void, attack w/ haste, draw 7 cards to find a Cloudshift, keep Griselbrand permanently. And since we were using Cloudshifts, I decided to throw in a few Akromas, because I've always wanted to cast her face down for 3, then cloudshift her face-up up for 1 more. Furthermore, since I figured Through the Void would end up sending some creatures to the Graveyard, I figured I should do have Unburial Rites, and if we're going to to Unburial Rites we should add Gifts Ungiven.Alternative creatures: Progenitus is, of course, awesome, but you could only cast him with Through the Breach.Cast Sheodred to nuke your opponents' creatures, then bring back your own milled creatures for free.Throwing in a Zealous Conscripts or just an Act of Treason is also a fun use for Cloudshift, but, who needs your opponents' creatures when your own are so badass. Not a perfect deck. Not much removal without sideboarding things, and Grand Abolisher will help counter some of your opponent's removal, but not all. Ideas are always welcome.

What if your up against re-animator and they play a similarly large creature? Does it just beocome a staredown?

I have a card for just that situation....substitute Cloudshift for Otherworldly Journey. In fact, almost used OJ as the card in the base deck, just liked Cloudshift's one mana cost.
