Deck Description

A tri-color deck themed off the realm of Esper from the Shards of Alara expansion. Colored artifacts are everywhere, supporting each other and strengthening each other in various ways, making this a very versatile deck that has lots of options. Flying creatures are the most reliable source of damage. Some of the cards in the sideboard are either ones I decided against using or ones I really wanted to use but were just too expensive. So if you have the budget, be sure to include a few of those!

How to Play

Etherium Sculptor is great at the beginning, making it easier to play everything else. Cards like Tidehollow Strix will keep you safe or give you some extra poke at the beginning of the game. There are many good average-cost creatures and other artifacts to supply the mid-game, and the sphinxes will rule the late game. Sharding Sphinx is one of my favorites, and will quickly amass you an army of thopters! The instants support you throughout the game, and scourglass is just fantastic in every way. Your opponents might as well forfeit if you get scourglass off. Prototype Portal and Gather Specimens looked interesting, so I put them in there to see what they would do. I might take them out later if I find them less than useful.
