a basic trading post deck i made to play in group casual play that seems like it should work just fine. hoping to test it out and see what i need to drop and change. hoping whip flare is enough to keep them back in the first couple of turns but several players have stooped to playing mono green big creature decks because no player s are aggressive enough to start attacking until they have an alpha strike. this leads to some rather ugly board states that players like me like to avoid usually. any ideas on this that would help against that or bring the curve down a bit would be awesome.
just keep the board clean and use cards like volatile rig to kill off your opponents. trading post provides enough life to keep you moving along with a way to recycle your win cons. the deck draws plenty of cards and tends to get the bulk of its lands out fast so you shouldn't have problems with drawing into the win cons as the game goes on. mill tends to produce problems but that's nothing trading post and a elixir of immortality cant fix. if they run something like leyline just drop an o-ring on it or slap it off the board with spine of ish sah as soon as you can get there.

made several changes to make the deck work more effectively for me. the original ran two mox opals which didn't help all that much for me despite how effective the are. upped the rig and wurm which really are the only thing that can be mistaken for win cons in this deck. also dropped ratchet bomb because its two slow in a group battle that has as many high cmc creatures as as the ones i get involved in do.
