This is a counter/control/protection deck. Shifting sky+Mystic decree+Teferi\'s Moat =No creatures can attack you. Enduring Renewal+Deathrender equipped too Voidmage Prodigy means you can just sit back and counter as much as your mana holds up for 2 blue mana and if you have Guile out then it\'s spelljacks. Also using Mulldrifter\'s evoke cost and equipping a Deathrender to it as it comes into play allows you to play any creature from your hand. Sword of LOS allows you to get creatures back.

Basically other cards like cryptic command, austere command, wrath of god let you survive till you can pull out something. Oblivion rings also help because even if your mana doesn't hold out to counter enough you can still remove things from the game. Also Fountain Watch help's you protect your enchantments and artifacts so you'll never have to worry about creatures. With the combo out, wrath of god away and attack away because your creatures just come back.

Equip happens as a sorcery. So, no, you can't play a creature for its evoke cost and equip Deathrender before it hits the graveyard. That kills off one of your main combos. This appears to be a very defensive deck, which I find are in general boring and tiresome.
sorry about that then, a friend of mine said the evoke/equip thing was legal so I went with it but thats far from my main combo, yeah it's a very defensive deck but far from boring when you control everything thats going on.
