Deck discussion for Obsessive lifegain

essence warden or soul warden might work well here, also icy manipulator either to slow opponent or untap rys and others, make more tokens

Doubling Season, Rhox Fatihmender, Serra Avatar (with double strike and lifelink basically triple your life each turn[i noticed true conviction lol]), and there is one card that is an elemental that whenever you gain life put that many +1/+1 counters on it. You gain 100 life? 100 counters. Pretty cheap card. You really only need one of each planeswalker...

Oh yes, this deck.

I made this deck long ago and it has since been retired, though for a short period it did breathe some life in the form of a Trostani commander deck. I may look back into it, if I can find it's core still, but thank you for your consideration.

Lol true haha. Sorry if I comment too much but it peaks my interest when someone actually makes original decks that I haven't thought of or have overlooked. Most people just make the same damn decks all the time.

I don't mind the extra comments at all. Typically no one ever gives any interest into them, and it gives me much needed feedback. Anyway, I tend to stay in modern and commander just because of the options. Standard and even extended never peaked any interest in me. Being different means creates completely different encounters every time played. It makes it fun, even if I lose!

If I could like more than once I'd give that last comment 100 likes because I so agree!! The only reason I add Legacy on to the list is because I keep trying to come up with original combos in order to win and like seeing if anyone is smart enough to make their own.

Combos and alternate win conditions makes it all an interesting place to be. Like winning with Biovisionary in EHD! Felidar Sovereign, Helix Pinnacle, Darksteel Reactor, things like that are openly awesome!

I don't go to tournaments anymore just from the lack of creativity, but that's pretty much because the only tournaments around here are either standard or vintage. Were there modern, I'd have a hay day.

EDH always seems to be full of creativity! Until you meet someone who plays Zur, the Enchanter, but that's something completely different.
