Deck Description

Last of the Nephilim decks, Glint-Eye Nephilim. That thing is definitely plagiarized from Picaso, I just know it.

First shalt thou take out thy Holy land cards. Then, shalt thou count to four. No more. No less. Four shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be Four. Two shalt thou not count, neither count thou three, excepting that thou then proceed to four. Five is right out. Once at the number four, being the fourth number to be reached, then, play thou thy Nephilim deck against thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it

Draw a lot, get what I need, discard the rest, get stronger creatures for doing either.

How to Play

Lorescale Coatl and Chasm Skulker get stronger from drawing cards, psychosis crawler deals damage for drawing cards, horizon chimera heals me for drawing cards. Basking Rootwalla is a free cast if discarded, wasteland viper is a great discard bloodrush effect, and traitors clutch is much cheaper to cast when discarded and in the graveyard. Nephilim can activate the best of both worlds, discarding what I don't need to make himself stronger and activating all the aforementioned effects of cards when I draw equal to the damage he dishes out.

Deck discussion for Glint-Eye Nephilim

Considering the many colors of the nephilim, you might want to explore either "favor of the overbeing" or "clout of the dominus", both of which will boost your nephilim into 4/4-hood.

Also, you might want to exploit rootwalla and lorescale a bit more by using either carefull study or faithless looting.

Ah, yes, I considered many a time to throw in those cards to power up my nephilim cards. However, most of the time their effects don't fit well into the deck or if they do they throw the mana curve way off. Clout of the dominus is nice, but it keeps me from targeting him with aphotic wisps, distortion strike, traitor's clutch, and other cards to make him unblockable and exploit his effect better. Favor of the overbeing would work better in here than clout, but what should I take out for it?
