Deck Description

The dual color series I've started (apparently) continues! We're going U/W now, and I can admit, THIS DECK WAS HARD AS HELL TO BUILD. Most U/B dual colors don't really function well without a heavier color base leaning toward blue (or white in some cases) but as it turns out, if you look in the right places, you can find some pretty nasty cards to help bring a power game to your deck! Enjoy!

How to Play

Not gonna lie, you'll be playing at a bit of a disadvantage with this deck. For starters, running a color combo that normally plays at a slow controlled pace and trying to speed it up isn't the easiest of tasks. Also, your limited to only dual color cards. But, even with these, you can still push out some powerful plays and get in a victory. The biggest source of power to this deck is your own wit. A lot of tough decisions are going to have to be made on your part, so think carefully before doing anything. After that comes the trick to this deck: Maintain an offense while being able to control the board to a manageable state. Easier said than done, but this is a possibility. Your deck comes with some powerful players, like St. Traft and Daxos, and also some powerful control cards, like Render Silent and Supreme Verdict. These power cards can turn any game around in an instant, and most of them time are heavily targeted. So, in order to seal the deal with victory, you need to hold some of your counters to help get these power players out. Another powerful combo is Augury Adept and Steel of the Godhead, creating a 4/4 unblockable life gaining machine that when she hits the enemy, you get even more life and a card draw. The hardest part of the deck is maintaining a steady pace, and will sometimes require you to not counter removal or counterspells to insure you can get the win. So, play hard, play smart, and more importantly, take heed of what your opponent could have planned.
