Peasant Dual Colors returns with a more infamous color combo: RED & BLUE, AKA INSTANTS AND SORCERIES!! To make this deck interesting, I tried to keep it around the same price range as the other peasant decks (Roughly $10-$15) so alot of cards like Serum Visions, Lighting Bolt, and Remand got put aside. But, this means other cards get a chance to shine! So, without further adieu, this is Magical Mayhem. Enjoy!
Red and blue have one thing in common: Instants and sorceries. Some of the most powerful instants and sorceries come from this infamous duo, so naturally, when they get together, the theme is built on that strength. You have a small pool of creatures, but they come all ready to get the magic going. Every creature benefits greatly when you play an instant (since this deck has no sorceries) meaning almost every turn should be a large step towards victory. Since these creatures don't have much other than this, the deck's strategy comes from your ability to use your instants. You have plenty of burn spells to deal with the other guy's army, but do you want to use it now to deal with a current threat or potentially use it to win the game? Most of the blue in your deck affects the other side of the board more than yours, but would you rather use it to save your creatures or use it to clear the path? Every spell counts with this deck, so constantly keep the present and future in mind. Outside of these decisions, the deck almost plays itself! Just keep the door to your opponent's life open and you can walk easily through for a nice win.
