So, when Eldritch Moon came out, I picked up a few boosters and saw Wretched Gryff. My first impression was, "Ok this Mulldrifter needs less tentacles," and then I saw it's rarity and was like, "OH, IT'S GONNA BE PAUPER." Sadly, I never saw a single emerge deck. So then, I did some research on emerge and found a strategy where you use decent mana cost creatures that get card advantage to emerge out your Eldrazi and went, "Hey, I know some stupid cards for emerge." After taking some advice from some friends, (thanks VengefulVeggies) I gathered all these cards in a lovely little deck. Enjoy!
Every creature that isn't Hooting Mandrils, It of the the Horrid Swamp, and Wretched Gryff is here to generate card advantage. It may seem like a strange list, but it works. Coiling Oracle and Trinket Mage help get lands (yes, we run artifact lands just so Trinket Mage can gurantee a land drop) while Mulldrifter and Elvish Visionary generate card draw. Fierce Empath is beast in Emerge decks, allowing you to tutor any big creature in your deck, then take three mana off it's Emerge cost. Gryff and Horrid Swamp are our obvious win cons, while Hooting Mandrils is just good since we'll be doing lots of sacrificing. Sylvok Lifestaff is an artifact that Trinket Mage can tutor as well as gain life (it's decent enough to stay) and Ghostly Flicker helps our card advantage creatures get more value! Preordain isn't something I run often, but it helps big time in this deck.SIDEBOARD:Lots of counter magic. This is basically for those control matchups to help make sure we get Emerge out. Sabotage for artifacts, and Relic for reanimator/dredge.

Great deck with excellent synergy.

Thanks! It took a bit of work to get together. The few games I've gotten to play with it recently have been rough due to some weird decks I've gone up against, but it's fun. I appreciate the compliment!
