When I made Nikya as a Commander, I figured that was my last venture into RG Commander decks. The color combo is rough for the format, plus the deck looked like a blast. I figured "I have no other RG Commanders I really want or need! Who else is even worth it?" Then, as I came back, I remember Xenagos. I decided after so much time had passed, it was finally time. So, here we are, with a Xenagos deck. Enjoy.
Big creatures get bigger with Xenagos. Gruul ain't complicated. It's raw, immense, and ferocious creatures brutally crushing your opponents. Just gather resources, gain card advantage, and STOMP.

No Malignus or Ruric Thar, am disappoint.

Malignus imo isn't too spectacular. Sure, on the attack he's great when Xenogos is out, but when Xenogos isn't, he's just very meh. And Ruric Thar's awesome, but I already had a bunch of awesome creatures and needed more smaller stuff to help the deck's curve.
Ah, I play xenagod differently. It's not about winning, it's about sending a message. And few things send the message as clearly as Malignus and Ruric Thar.
I mean, you can send a very scary message with terror of the Peaks, summon ghalta for 2, double its power, summon rhonas god eternal, swing a 48/48 with trample, then draw 48 cards w ou th greater good. The message is simple: never underestimate RG.
