Deck Description

In all of Commander, there are none quite like Norin. The guy's a coward who bails if ordered to attack, or if any spell is cast. So, how do you break him? Quite simply, by using his cowardice as a weapon. We KNOW he's gonna bail, but he'll be back. And if he jumps in and out of the field practically every turn, why not slap in effects that benefit from it. Introducing: Norin The Wary, AKA How I Made A Coward A Hero.

How to Play

Norin is gonna bail constantly, which proc's ETB triggers. Using stuff like Impact Tremors and Witty Roastmaster, we can burn our opponents incredibly consistently. We also run a token strategy to get more ETB value/burn, and Furnace effects to make all of our burn even scarier. The rest of the deck is to help hinder our opponents. Possibility Storm is potentially THE most powerful red enchantment against blue/control decks, countering counterspells and removal by forcing them to be different entirely. Puzzle Box & Urabrask help by limiting cards in hand or forcing them out every turn. Blood Moon/Magus and Burning Earth are definitely a non-bo, but both cards are tremendously powerful so I decided to include both. Overall, we are a surprisingly disruptive burn deck that can spam a big board while turning life totals to ash.
