The time has come! Phyrexia needs to expand it's glory, and it's next destination is Zendikar! But as they arrive to their next plane for the taking, they meet a force they did not expect the be in their way, the Eldrazi! Who will win the battle for Zendikar?Eldrazi Deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ciaranmadgrin/decks/dd-eldrazi-vs-phyrexia/The Phyrexians may not have planned for the Eldrazi, but this doesn't mean they can't spread the beauty of phyresis to these beings! The Phyrexian deck is all about Infect, victory by poison counters, and against the defensive early game of the Eldrazi, the Phyrexian utilize a quick aggressive approach that will overwhelm the Eldrazi before they can call upon their precious fully grown Eldrazi. With early creatures like Ichorclaw Myr and Plague Stinger, you should be able to get in a few poison counters before turn 4, and that's all you need for it to be too late. By mid-game, you'll have access to more unique ways to spread the sickness, like one of your trigons or the Decimator Web, and also a good time to start killing off some of the Eldrazi's army, with cards like Go for the Throat and Doom Blade. If late game arrives before the Eldrazi are poisoned to their demise, fear not! By now, you have enough poison counters that all you need is one good swing to finish these fools and force them to adapt to a new way of life. Flesh-Eater Imp is great for this, because you can sacrifice your other minions to pump him up, then boost him one more time with Mutagenic Growth or Withstand Death, then give your enemies the last breath of their pathetic imperfect lives and the first breath of perfection!
