Looking to build a U/B control deck around Abyssal Persecutor. Got beat by a mono black and esper colored deck similar to this couple FNM's ago (the same guy owned both decks). This is just for casual and FNM play. I took a decklist off google and modified it so it was more affordable and included cards I already had. Quick Summary: -Persecutor as beatstick, Nighthawk as additional threat, maybe to eat removal early a turn before i drop persecutor -Gatekeeper with the bounces make a sac engine that can be used offensively and to sac persecutor when needed -Agony Warp for combat trick removal, Smother for spot, and Consuming Vapors for the ones that are to big for the others -spreading seas for mana disruption and draw effect, ponder is self explanatory some issues: -probably need to work on mana base and curve -not sure about sideboard -no jace, mind sculptors (can't afford them), so have to work around that problem
