I checked the rules on copying spells. After a spell(instant or sorcery) copy(token) leaves the stack it is destroyed. So the spell could be copied for the 2 damage or the bounce, but when the copy is to be re-suspended, it would be destroyed.

Even though it can't be multiplied each time as previously thought, it is still a nice combo with Paradox Haze.

It's 2 years old. I only kept it because it was my first deck. The immortal coil was traded to a player using bazaar trader then drop a bojuka bog or cast ravenous trap. Bazaar trader was protected by dash hopes for a turn. It worked well, but anyone who already knew the gimmick was holding removal for the bazaar trader. Luckily there were other ways to put pressure.

You're right about the amulet, I run 2 in a landfall deck with teramorphic and evolving wilds, as well as khalni heart expedition and it's nice being able to use lands right awayeither on an opponents turn or mine.

I also like your idea with the arc blade and reality strobe. By the time their suspends are going off, the ascension should have enough charges. Thanks for the tips.

You're right. I think a combination of Ponder and/or Preordain might be better in place of the spellblade and distortion strike.

Nice deck, looks fun. What about Cemetery Reaper, Fleshbag Marauder(good for the zombies that do things when leaving the battlefield), or Death Baron? Call to the Netherworld is great for this deck why just 2, you only have black creatures? It's good versus discard decks too. I'd put 4 of them and 2 Disentombs. You could also up your artifact count by using Extraplanar Lens for faster mana, then pop in a few Phylactery Lichs. Even if you let them hit the graveyard because of no artifact out, they'll be a nice boost for the Sutured Ghoul that comes out in a few turns.

I really like this deck. A friend of mine played a similar one with the Kiln Fiend and Distortion strikes. I suggest trading the 4 Flame Slashes for Staggershock, because it targets players too and most importantly it rebounds for residual Kiln Fiend boosts.

Dual lands: Dragonskull summit, Blackcleave cliffs. Maybe some sac-lands. I would go 10 mountains, 6 swamps, and 4 each of the current dual lands. Maybe just 4 dual lands, in that case keep all 14 mountains and go to 6 swamps still.
