Deck discussion for Affinity

I see you are building competitive. Good. Then maybe you could help me with my Modern Mono Black Infect deck. Yes, I know, a completely different archetype and a completely different play style. But I need you help, nonetheless, because you play affinity.

Affinity is the deck I have most troubles with. Even after sideboard, I tend to lose more than win. I've been using Ratchet bombs to hopefully scare away some aggression, but I still usually end up losing. The Ravenger is a real pain. Your sideboard also seems to do a good job at mitigating my own sideboard.

Since you seem familiar with affinity, I was wondering if you could suggest to me what I could change in either my deck or sideboard to make games 2 and (if I get to it) 3 more win-able for me.

How does affinity match up against living end game 1 and 2? I personally feel like affinity would have a better game 2 due to ethersworn canonist (ooh! Canonist. I don't play affinity, but that seems quite good against both my mono black deck and also anihilates living end). What I love about affinity is that the sideboard can pack so many answers, regardless of the deck being as fast as it is. I have a (bad) feeling that I'll be seeing a lot of it in the GP. Maybe I'll try to find a damnation or two while I'm at it.

Living end has a problem because of ravager and the fact you have animate lands that you can use in case they blow up your creatures. You can easily do well in the 2nd games with cannonist and the relics I have sided.

Also I don't like cannonist against monoblack. She is more of a hate card against combo decks and control decks. Storm can't win with her in play.

I sort of like her. She can help against ensnaring bridge. Hmm. Yeah. You're right. Not that good against mono black infect. But against mono black infect, you can assume that your opponent try increase the viscosity of the gears you have an affinity towards by throwing disruption into your cogs.

I don't know I feel for mono black infect the changes are, -2 gal blast, -2 memnite, + 3 thoughtseize +1 champion. Maybe try to add more spellskites but doubtful.

Canonist, champion, spellskite, and thoughtseize are all good. I'd personally go with what you just put down, but, depending on what removal you saw game 1, it could vary. Spellskite definitely hurts. If you won game 1, I might even suggest -2 gal blast -1 memnite, +3 thoughtseize and just try to see what they boarded in.
Affinity plays very similarly to legacy dredge; high win rate game 1, lots of hate game 2. I often think it's better to keep your current speed against an incredibly slow deck rather than risk pointless sideboards until you know what your opponent sided in.
