Deck Description

This deck is SOOOO much fun to play people with!!!!
Pretty much uses Mimic Vat (my new favorite card ever) to its absolute fullest. All the creatures in this deck have sick ass synergy with the Vat, especially Pelakka Wurm. Every turn you gain 7 life, swing with a 7/7, and draw a card! Are you kidding me? What is not to like about this card?
Running 2's of some to figure out who work best in the deck before I make it a bit more focused.
Thinking about tossing in some Avenger Of Zendikar or maybe even Ulamog.

Deck discussion for Mimic Vat & Me are Friends

You don't get to draw a card if you have a Pellakka Wurm on the Vat. He does not enter the graveyard, which is what triggers the card draw.

read the card, it says exile it at the beginning of the next end step. it isnt sac'd or destroyed, but exiled, which means it never hits the graveyard

mimic vat makes tokens of the exiled card, so if he sacs the token he will have the "hit the graveyard" ability, but the token token will just disappear.

Maybe something like Consuming Vapors would be awesome here. It would let you get rid of your own Persecutor and also any of your other creatures if you want to imprint them on the Vat. Plus, it gives you life and holds off your opponent a little bit better until you plop down your own big guys.

looks like it works quite well, mimic vat is an awesome card.
have you considered lilliana's spectre? if they are top-decking and you have one on the vat you can create a token at the beggining of their upkeep and force them to discard before they can play anything (unless it is an instant).

P.S. ulamog would not work on the vat either as his effect only goes off when you cast him, though if you consistently have enough mana to cast him i would play him vat or not.

What about Precursor Golem? Two free tokens each time you use the Vat.

Torpor Orb will ruin this. You have to sideboard some artifact removal.
