Deck Description

My inspiration was based around helping my friend find a deck that works with his tibalt, considering he really loves that card. Thus, I concocted this after much deliberation, and am looking for recommendations as to what to change and what to keep.

How to Play

The deck is built around planeswalkers really. You got early spells to keep your enemy off your walker's ass, and you build up to getting your planeswalkers out and working towards an ultimate. Those two planeswalkers being Liliana of the Veil and Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded. Vraska was a decision after much play testing. She's basically a big wall that destroys things like rest in peace or dryad militant, as well as being a bulky wall to fend off enemy attackers with her +2. Her ultimate isn't too shabby either with the ability to end the game quickly.

The point is use Liliana's and Tibalt's +1 to discard many cards from yourself, get unburial rites, and immediately start reviving big creatures such as Angel of Serenity. The Falkenrath Aristocrat is mainly there for early defense with the Huntmaster of the Fells. They can provide good defense until a bit later in the game, those two paired up with Vraska will defend your liliana and tibalt until the point where the two can turn the game around for you.

Eh, this is always how I saw it spelled, kind of a force of habit I suppose.

I don't think Falkenrath Aristocrat is near as good in this deck as it could be. I'm not sure how willing you'd be to sac one of your other creatures (even with unburial rites) to trigger its ability. Maybe Olivia instead or Thundermaw if budget is no issue (does not appear to be). I do find your reanimator sub-theme really interesting with Liliana and Tibalt as useful ways to fill your graveyard while advancing your planeswalkers.

I absolutely agree. I saw that I needed some creatures, and budget in this case isn't huge, since it's just theory at this point. Once I get enough cash for it, I'll put it all together IRL... Most likely will be borrowing most cards though from good friends haha. Thank you for the compliment on the sub-theme by the way. It's always kind of been a passion of mine to put things like this together, and when I got a ton of time on my hands, this comes out of it.
