Deck Description

Black Burn.

All that Red can do, Black can do as well.

The main advantage about this deck is, that it is capable of gaining life. On the other hand that is also the biggest disadvantage as the damage then is lowered.

Basically it is the same play style as a burn deck. But I chose to create a Black one to be innovative so please do not downrate this without a comment at least.

Deck discussion for Black Burn

Underworld dreams would fit quite nicely, the main thing i will say is that a lot of your spells are quite expensive, so you need to hold off dying until you can start getting some of that life back, Leaden myr would provide you with a bit of mana acceleration or emergency blocking creature, there are probably better things out there but that's my first instinct, also hissing miasma is a good deterrent but is again 3 mana, you need more things you can play during the early game. The premise is sound, it just needs a little more speed.

black can't do what red does black is a control color and a slow one
red is an aggro color a really really fast one

red burn is good cause it's fast and because it can target creatures too!

this on the other hand has no control and it's burn is much too slow to win any game
tendrils of agony is only good in storm decks
so

if you want to make black burn make a storm with lion's eye diamond, lotus petal lotus bloom and other 0 cost spells so tendrisl gets huge and deals like 32 dammage
those decks truly exist and are turn 2 killers but expensive though

Dude this is a nice start, but your not doing enough damage. I run an all black deck that drains life, but does it thru discards, this could help you.

And it's tourney legal.

Ok @ Æthercraft
Yes, I am aware of the difference between black and red, I was just using my statement to create a fun angle to start this black "burn" in. And it is also possible to play black beatdown, that wins on 4-6 (even turn 2, if we are counting Hatred decks), and I do not want you to try to tell me that red cannot be used as control color (they even have counterspells, only versus blue though). I have been playing this game for around 10 years so I am fully aware of game mechanics and the colors main functions etc.
And that storm combo, I am aware of the existence of it and I went away from it, simply because it already existed.

@Noob4Life
I have a UWD/Megrim called Roulette:

But I am afraid that one is illegal.

Ok, now that it is settled I would like to say thanks for the feedback. I will look into your suggestions, but for now I will not change this.

Well as long as you're gaining some life, I think Sanguine Bond would be really good. Also Consume Spirit.

Please take a look at my profile and tell me what you think of my decks.
