Deck Description

Draw and discard my big artifacts and reanimate them as soon as turn 2 with trash for treasure, even double reanimate on turn 2 with sharuum the hegemon, or with reverberate and trash for treasure on turn 3 or 4 =]

Kuldotha forgemaster and kuldotha phoenix are my back up in case the game goes on too long and I run out of reanimates. =]

Only having one card to reanimate with works fine with the massive amount of drawing i will do, I am guaranteed to draw 2 or 3 trash for treasure in a game.

Deck discussion for Mono Red Reanimate 2.0

Gotta love Reanimate decks :) Ever play against Rest in Peace? I had to add Nevinyrral's Disks to my deck to counter nasty enchantments since Red has so much trouble dealing with them. I suppose Forgemasters can help a bit but an aggro deck might flood you by then no?

Look at adding Great Furnace and Anger ... staples in my deck for quick and easy wins

Can't use great furnace because it's unfortunately banned in modern otherwise itd def be in there. Anger I'm pretty sure isnt modern either , I had it in at first when i didnt know it wasnt modern but I took it out, would rather play akromas memorial otherwise its ok, i dont need it too desperately. This deck is surprisingly fast, I can have the opponent at 10 and two sphinxes out on turn 2. which means turn 3 win in that a scenerio. I might have a problem against aggro if my deck doesnt go off quick enough, but i can run a side board for that, like lightning bolt or pyroclasm. Rest in peace would suck, but i can run some dual lands and destroy enchants aslo in my sideboard. I doubt it'll be a problem, not many people run rest in peace in their decks.

Thanks =]

If you decide to defect from modern, check out Search for Survivors, too.

Interesting, that's a pretty neat card, I'll look into it, maybe throw it in when i choose not to play modern, I really enjoy this as modern tho. But the best card for this deck if I were to make it legacy is to acquire goblin welder =p

Yeah, it's almost not optional to not have goblin welder in that case. I just recomend Search for Survivors because it is cheap to aquire and test out. It's potentialy funny with Gamble as well.

yea, much better chance of spending 2 dollars for a playset of that rather than 30 plus for the playset of the welder haha. Gamble is an amazingly fun card, I've considered that if I were to ever make this legacy =p

Welder + Buried Alive is so much fun - this deck is cool as a Modern variation, but I can't help using the 4 welders I picked up 10 years ago or whatever for $1 each :)
