Deck Description

Beast tribal with creature buffs and a surprise token aspect....
Also threw in Thrun, I mean why not right?

Deck discussion for Beasts

Looks really good. Have u looked at adding Garruk Wildspeaker? He provides 3/3 Beast tokens, untaps lands and has an Overrun ability. Overall a strong deck

Btw, I'm not sure if I want to do it yet... But do you think Lignify would be a better add than prey upon?

Cause yes prey upon would (most likely) kill the creature I want removed and it only cost 1 to play. But lignify can get past indestructible creatures and I don't risk killing my own creature in the process...

What do you think?
Tough decision on my part...

I wouldnt mind adding one, but I dont own one at the moment, havent decided what i'd take out and how many of him id want to have if i did, not sure if i would add him or not yet tho, the real question is if I will spend the money to buy him. It's a good possibility tho if i get ahold of one =p

Thanks for the opinion and suggestion!

I think you should focus on the Beast aspect rather than have Fungal Sprouting, Increasing Savagery, Lignify, and Thrun. Cards like Krosan Warchief, Wirewood Savage and Triumph of Ferocity would work well. Should probably also have at least 22 lands in this deck.

I was actually thinking about ditching fungal sprouting to put something else in here. As for increasing savagery and thrun this deck works amazingly with those 2, increasing savagery has come in handy every single game I've ever played with this deck, I cast it on turn 3 making either leathback balmoth a 9/10, or getting a 8/7 trample with garruks companion. and Thrun is too amazing to take out, he ins't a beast yes i know, but in this deck he might as well be, because nothing in this deck really focuses on the creature type I just kinda went that route with everything else being a beast with all my other creatures. But a 4/4 can't be countered, regenerate, hexproof creature for 4 more than worth it especially with all the auras and increasing savagery in this deck. 20 land seems like it's been fine in most all games I've played, my wild growths make up for any lack of lands i might run into, And the most expensive thing I can cast in this deck is 4 unless I try to do increasing savagerys flashback, which still isn't out of the picture for late game. Lignify is amazing just because I consider it being a green arrest for only 2 mana, and I ran into many problems regarding specific creatures when using this deck and that card has been very useful for that, not to mention it combos still with aura gnarlid, but if you have any suggestions for something else instead of lignify I'll look into it.

But thank you for your thoughts =] I will probably take out fungal sprouting, just gotta think what to put in for it now

With decks I've made in the past that had no way to draw cards, I always ran out of cards by turn 5 and just hoped every turn that I drew something useful. Yes, this deck does a lot of damage in the first few turns, but if your opponent is destroying your monsters or forcing you to sacrifice them/return them to your hand, you're fucked.

I think Triumph of Ferocity or Wirewood Savage would be good choices. Irresistible Prey might be okay too.

It's a neat card, but it cost too much for what it does, and with canopy cover, rancor, or aura gnarlid, not too many creatures will be blocking my creatures anyhow because of trample or unless they have creatures with flying, or if i have out aura gnarlid they might not be blocking at all
