I've been tinkering with this for about two weeks (three tournaments) and am pretty happy with it by now.Notes:- Not sure about Heron's Grace Champion in the side, but it is definitely not main deck-worthy (as I was initially trying). When first building the deck, I wanted to stay true to the aggro MO, in that the land count needs to be low to avoid flooding. However, I found I'd get stuck on three lands and unable to slam HGC. I brought them in only once during a recent FNM, on the draw vs. RW Vehicles. I intentionally slowed the game down (thus generating more draw steps and land drops), and was able to play it AND Gideon, making the game unwinnable for the Vehicles player.- Similarly to the HGC problem, I wasn't activating Duskwatch Recruiter very often, making it feel okay to cut one for a second Selfless Spirit, which gives you mainboard assurance against Fumigate. Two SS seems right. And I didn't want to cut any Hamlet Captains. They have been surprisingly good and much better than say, Consul's Lieutenant from the previous Standard.- In the event that flooding does occur, I've usually been able to utilize extra mana, thanks to Clues and the abilities of DW Recruiter and the new card Oviya. These cards remain aggro in spirit, but the built-in mana sinks are good bonuses.- Speaking of Oviya, the card has been "good enough," in that it is a human with 2 toughness. I wasn't playing a lot of Magic as the last Standard ended, so I've slowly come to realize how much of a liability x/1s are vs. Liliana in the BW Control decks. To that point, it is correct to take out the playset of Expedition Envoy in that match-up. I am still leaving Spirits in as protection from Fumigate.
