The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Oh, fishies ... I was splooged more than once by them. Eventually, I got the upper hand and put them back in the pond, but they learned new tricks - splashed white, walked the plains. Here are some suggestions w/o splashing White: Instead of Cancel, look into Stoic Rebuttal (Same CMC, but with Metalcraft it's 1 colorless less) or Deprive (Counters for UU, but bounces one of your lands back. Say, Halimar Depths. :D). Also, I'd get some more Counter love in - the Fishies have the Lullmage Mentor, that a) gives you more Fishies and b) counters stuff if you have enough Fishes. Coralhelm Commander seems to be a must-have for you. The Tricksters, then again, seem odd. You don't really have any abilities that make your opponent search his library, so ... sideboard? Souverign is a no-brainer. Thada, though, is a sideboard card, again. Ideally, you can deal with artifacts via your counters. The Enclave Elite seems odd, but with Chalices you should be able to cast 'em with ~3 counters no problem. The Treasure Mage obv. looks for the overly expensive artifacts, but without anything accelerating your Mana, those will be dead cards in your hands. Cut them, along with the Mage and fill up on the stuff mentioned, err ... above and below, I guess. :D Your artifact choices seem odd, again. Where's the Everflowing Chalice? :D Grand Architect has a secret afair with that dirty girl. And while we are at it, how about Contagion Engine? Throw the Equipment away, and get some dirtyness in there. Fill up on Counters (Mana Leak, Negate, Flash Freez for the Sideboard) and Bounces (Into the Roil, Unsummon) and you should be good. Review if you really need 25 lands. Seems excessive, considering your Mana curve. Hope this helps, good sir. On that note, if you want to leave me some comments on some of my decks, I would be glad. Maybe you take a look at my white Allies deck, as it is a "themed" deck, too. :D http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=122524
Thank you for the excellent advice. I think utilizing Lullmage Mentor to its fullest might be the best way to go. Coralhelm, Sovereign, and Grand Architect all pump my creatures, so I wouldn't mind having that guy as a token generator. I think Cosi's Trickster is good tech against certain decks right now. Fetch Lands are very popular and will make my one drop stronger as the game progresses. Decided to keep it in the sideboard. My main game plan is to Islandwalk my way victory. Thada Adel is an islandwalker, so I consider her rather valuable for my purposes. Enclave Elite as well. Argentum Armor is pricy, but with an active Grand Architect, I have been able to play it and equip it easily. I think I would actually prefer some Sword of Feast and Famines to keep my mana open as much as possible, but those are harder to come by. As for the mana curve, I want to ensure I keep the land flowing. I have a lot of three drops, and I actually need to be playing them two at a time. Perhaps Everflowing Chalice would suit these needs. I'll have to look into it. I do love Everflowing Chalice, but I was envisioning a line of play that went, Merfolk Spy, Spreading Seas, Grand Architect. I didn't wanted to be on the offensive you see. Perhaps you are right. On a side note, some really fun plays are to steal equipment from the opponents with Thada. Imagine taking your opponent's Swords and Wurmcoils! She also has synergy with the trickster, forcing them to shuffle their deck. It's a strange deck, and certainly not the fastest gun in the west. I have yet to play Red Deck Wins or Mox-blins, because I am quite sure I will be creamed. Thank you for the advice once again.
Trying out Sejiri Merfolk. Put in 4 plains to activate the first strike, lifelink abilities. Those will be quite handy on the battlefield. I don't think it will hurt my mana base too badly. The occasions where I can't cast a card with two blue in it's CMC should be quite rare. Also added in Ratchet Bomb as an answer to Goblins.
