Deck Description

Using mana barbs to lock down opponent.
There are two ajani veng but its worth it considering the birds and gems.
I was thinking about using elvish archdruids but i dont actually have any so im sticking with this for now.

Deck discussion for Manabarbs type two control.

I don't know why you randomly added Punishing Fire to this deck. It should be a sideboard card.
I would just replace the Firewild Borderposts with more Forests. Coming into play tapped things and running birds = BAD.

Obsidian Fireheart is just kinda random. It cost way too much red mana for a dual-colored deck. I mean its effect would be great unless your opponent killed it, but I would rather have an easier to cast dual colored creature (Red/Green creature).

I would try to replace the Harrows with Rampant Growths. 2 mana and it fetch a land seems to be slightly better for your deck because there aren't not enough lands and you are less likely to be mana screwed running Rampant Growths instead of Harrow.

I would take out a copy of Chandra Abalaze
I would add 1 copy of plains since you have Ajani, If your opponent kills your birds, good chance Anjani would become a dead draw.
I would also take out a copy of Khalni Gem, 4 is just way too much.

One word to you... Manabarbs does what again? Why do i run borderposts and birds? Because i dont have to tap land when my opponent does... i can add lands back into my hand with the gems and punishing fires are for chandras which they turn into blasting for 4 and now with standard there are baneslayers so i can return and burn... you obviously dont get the mechanics of this deck.

you should put in mesmeric orb to lockdown everything more! it works against you too but it would make for an interesting match! +1

Actually it looks pretty good. I am trying to accomplish pretty much the same thing with my deck. Check it out: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=41914

I do have 2 suggestions for it. First, as said before, you should take the harrows out for rampant growth. Second, it looks like you would have a hard time winning if you didn't get the barbs, and in a 75 card deck you never know if you'll get one. I would cut the deck down to 60 cards and it would probably work alot better and consistantly.

Take a look at my deck for some ideas. Mine is still undergoing changes to make it more consistant, so I have some ideas from your deck.
