Deck Description

So I bought the Dark Ascension Event Deck (Gleeful Flames) and thought I would 'try' to 'improve' on it. :-D

I need some pointers on keeping it Type-2 and making it brutally quick, so any pointers are immensely welcomed!

Side Note: My sideboard does not currently exist. What is shown is what I was thinking would make a good addition to the deck. But as I said, I'm looking for tips and pointers, so feel free to grill me and let me know what needs to be done!

Deck discussion for Gleeful Flames Redux

For the early game, I intended on just trying to pepper my opponent with my 1 drops until I could start using Goblin Grenade and Brimstone Volley to really dig in. Curse of Stalked Prey, Hellrider and Rage Thrower are intended to be used later (even though I think the game would be over one way or another by turn 7-8) in case my opponent was able to gain life throughout the match.

Why do you use Gaveleers without any equipments? You might as well use Raging Goblin if you really want a cheap goblin.

Because I can't find Raging Goblin in M12. I'm trying to keep it Type-2.

Well this sucks. My deck went right off the new deck list in less than a day with only 1 comment from someone other than myself. Lame...

Looks solid to me but I don't really play goblins for burn. Have you tested it out yet?

Looks good man, just don't forget red decks play fast and unfortunatly play out fast if you can't win by turn 6 you prolly won't, toss in some late game boost like tezzeret's gambit or gitaxian probe other wise you'll be topdecking pretty fast and that's no fun for a burn deck. Livewire lash and mox opal would be good addiotions as well

Oh and ps don't forget your focus inkmoth nexus is amasing but pinging your oppentent for 10 poison is not your game and you have no pump to benifit it, it'll relly suck if you have that on the field and all you need is one more red mana
