Thanks for the comment! You're my very first. :D

Runechanter's Pike is anti-synergetic with Snapcaster Mage. Furthermore, Feast and Famine is mainly there for control purposes, and while the boost to damage from Runechanter's Pike is more substantial, FaF is no slouch in this deck. Burn is a huge aspect of the deck, both for creature removal and damage.

Nothing like Arc Trail + Brimstone Volley + FaF + Snapcaster Mage + Brimstone Volley in a single turn. Just saying.

The Phoenixes are a pain to get rid of and hit in the air, but are admittedly high cost. The main problem I have is finding a comfortable medium between burn and counter spells.

Thanks again for the reply. ;D

Consider adding three Sword of Feast and Famine. Blight Blade is a combo I've come to love and can be devastating. Dig spells are great for aggro and aggro control. I use four Ponder and two Forbidden Alchemy myself. Being able to look that deep in the deck is fantastic. I agree with dadaniknik on the Necropedes.

Generally speaking, Dismember is fantastic, but I'd board them instead. More of a preference. The life cost can be costly, especially if you've got nothing useable in your hand for a while.
