Remember When...This was my first ever real Magic deck that I actually really worked on and was somewhat successful in the SUUUPER casual meta that I had with my friends. I still remember it and how much I loved it and question what was going through my head when I took it apart and traded away the components but now I have made plans to create a new, better version that will be just as fun to play with (though not standard. Yes this was at the time.). I hope you guys like my little story and think it is as awesome as I think it is.Link to new version:http://www.mtgvault.com/ceefu/decks/throwback-izzet-storm/
Not really aiming to get people to build this deck just sharing my history in the magic field but if you want an example of how this works, here we go:I was playing three player standard with my friends at lunch in 8th grade. One played simic, the other mono blue. We were all poor and our decks were in no way, shape, or form competitive. They began to argue about a rule on turn 2 and from then on out, they ignored me and tried to kill each other without success. Around turn 10-12, I decided to cast blustersquall with 1 Nivix cyclops out on the field. I then proceeded to burn one friend to death, then swing with the cyclops at the other to win the game. I laughed for a looooong time. They were stuck trying to kill each other and ignored me. What a great game.
