The first deck that I ever built. It started as the Master Blaster pre-constructed from the Darksteel set, and was taken apart to remove all non-artifact spells. It also bears my favorite card of all time, Bosh, who was also the first rare that I ever pulled (extremely sentimental, I know, but he works). Since then, the deck has traveled with me to Japan, back to the United States, and been rebuilt several times.Today it is a testament to the power of Artifacts, with a heavy bend, much like the sets its built using, on the Mirrodin and Scars of Mirrodin cycles. It presently stands as the consolidation of three different decks, but that have been reunified into a Colossus. It is meant for casual play only, but I have been looking into restructuring it again into a commander deck, or potentially splitting it back down to two separate artifact decks.
The build relies upon initial mana-ramp and stave-off, but quickly builds into devastating damage attacks from unstoppable creatures. Most of the time this deck is up, running, and nearly unstoppable by turn 4-5. There are quite a few ways to annihilate end-game with this deck:Soul of New Phyrexia + Anything else and manaBlinkmoth Urn = All the mana you needVenser + Sundering Titan = Land HateSkeleton Shard + Kuldotha Forgemaster = Whatever you want, whenever you want itMycosynth Golem + Loreseeker's Stone = Top-Deck Mania and OnslaughtBosh + Mycosynth Golem + Skeleton Shard = Giant Repeating ExplosionsPlatinum Angel = well, it is a platinum angeland others as well.Again, this is a casual deck and is still being revised from time to time.
