Counterburn for standard after the fall 2014 rotate. This is my take on some other R/U counterburn decks I've seen on here.Props to the following folks which have influenced me:http://www.mtgvault.com/paulus/decks/ur-burncontrol-post-rotate/http://www.mtgvault.com/tangey/decks/izzet-four-or-greater-nope/I changed a couple things around based on the cards that I have available and my personal preference.Looking for opinions.
Use the burn spells and counters to remove threats early on, maintain board control until you can get one of the win conditions out.Side some extra control, as well as Torch Fiend to get rid of a pesky artifacts. (Looking at you, Perilous Vault). Circle of flame is underrated and can be quite good in certain situations.Divination and Augury for extra card draw, otherwise you'll be playing off of the top of the library in no time due to the low mana curve.Jace's Scry/Mill +1 can be helpful if you've got a Chimera in your hand or on the board, and the -3 bounce is useful as well, I would normally try to avoid the ultimate except in specific situations where having the card advantage is better than having a big chimera. (dead/removed Chimera's or big blockers with flying/reach).Chandra's +1 burn and block removal is decent as well, her 0 can also help if you're playing with an empty hand.

Update.. I've been play testing this at FNM and casually. Did really well against mono green devotion, and mono black devotion, all the control and counters work very well against the mana ramping and rats/thoughtsieze respectfully.I've taken out the Satyr Firedancers and replaced them with Illusory Angels, because one thing that I've found is that if I don't pull the Chimera (my main win condition) at the right time, the game can go long, and although it might seem like blasphemy to take out what seems like one of the best cards for this type of deck, the combo really didn't do much good in most situations because there's only 4 lightning strikes as direct player targeted damage. Maybe if Shock gets re-printed in KTK block, and the count of play targeted burn goes from 4 to 8, then Firedancer will be more effective.
