The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

The challenge was to break Rings of Brighthearth, which I've done, albeit in rather a janky way. With Rings and the Taskmage out you have the beginnings of an engine. Now you'll just need 4 creatures with defender out, one of which being Overgrown Battlement, or a land with 2 enchantments on it. Then you'll have the ability to use the Taskmage to untap the land/wall and itself with the Rings. Repeat for infinite mana. How to win? I figured we'd throw in Braingeyser (or the x-draw spell of your choice) to have them draw their entire deck and Helix Pinnacle. There, now there's two broken cards for the price of one! To get us there, we'll use the defender creatures to mug up board and the Taskmage by itself or with the rings to tap them down until your combo is online. Yeah, it's pretty janky. I have no idea how it'd run since I haven't actually built it. It's all theory. Just looking at it, it probably wants more card draw or some tutoring. It probably won't win a bunch of games, but the 2 or 3 games you win will be pretty interesting.

You don't get infinite mana, read the Rings!

Sure you do. You tap the land to get 4 mana. Then you use one mana to activate the Taskmage to untap the land and use 2 mana from the Rings to copy the untap activation from the Taskmage. Then you untap the Taskmage, leaving you where you started except you have 1 mana in your pool. Wash, rinse, repeat. Infinite mana.
