Aside from just being good soldiers, I liked [[Aegis of the Gods]] and [[Archetype of Courage]] because they pump up [[Ethereal Armor]]. But you're right, they don't really fit with Heroic.

I was just looking at [[Defiant Strike]] but decided to go with [[Gird for Battle]] instead, but I like both.

Idk why but I think [[Hard Evidence]] is cute, and I like [[Pyroclasm]] in there with those creatures. Feels like a really solid beginner deck. I like making simple beginner decks, that might not be super competitive but are fun to play and easy to learn. And they're usually better than pre-con decks.

I have [[Nylea's Presence]], [[Lush Growth]], and [[Planar Nexus]]. But I guess that one is banned. [[Prismatic Omen]] might find its way into the deck now? idk

It's on a budget, but this site doesn't track prices anymore. So who's to say?

[[Bonesplitter]] is good, I swapped out the [[Infernal Plunge]].

[[Collateral Damage]] is also good, sort of like [[Reckless Abandon]] but instant speed. But I already have [[Goblin Grenade]], [[Fling]], and [[Thud]], at that point I'd almost have more ways to kill my creatures than actual creatures lol

[[Children of Korlis]] + [[Immolating Souleater]] combo idea?

Having a deathtouch creature with flying and first strike is pretty good, but Cloak and Dagger does fit real nice.

A friend recommended Obscura Storefront. Similar enough to the others but you also gain 1 life.

And there's Myriad Landscape, which costs mana but can have 3 Landfall triggers, which sounds like fun.

Yeah, the combo is the core. Infinite red mana, infinite creatures coming into play, infinite creatures dying, and cards to synergize with that. Infinite direct damage with Spikeshot Elder, Boggart Shenanigans, Impact Tremors, and Pashalik Mons

I can bounce a land with Deprive to get more use out of Halimar Depths and to trigger landfall, but fetch lands is a really good idea. And I like how Field of Ruin pairs well with Archive Trap. Any other recommendations for fetch lands? Preferably budget friendly options.

You're totally right. It's a great card and would do well in this deck. But this is just supposed to be a fun theme-deck to play casually with friends. I just decided to make a Puppy decklist and this one for Kittens :)
