The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Local magic group were trying something different, we were going to play a night of deck swap. Basically, when you matched up with an opponent, you flipped a coin to see if you'd play your deck, or his/her deck. So I wanted a deck with some sort of non-obvious twist. This is what I ran with. One of my mates named it. Premise: mulligan and lose cards in hand if you have to, but you want to start with either severance or one of the transmute cards in your hand, use the severance to rid your deck of all land (you only need 5 - 7) Comment: well, it did work a few times, and confused anyone else playing it, with the typical comment of "What is this? Is this just made of land?" Not sure about the signets; they are good acceleration if you start with them, but you cant get them out your deck with severance and they are an annoying draw when you're looking for the mill cards… maybe take them out for 3 more islands. The transmute cards can either look for a glimpse, or chump blocker / counter spell.

after you strip your lands, you deck is so small, the chance of you drawing traumatise and glimpses are greatly increased, if you draw one of the remaining transmutes, you can use it to grab a glimpse. Its not an ideal way of milling, but it worked for deck swap, and anyone getting my deck was like you.. "how does this work?"
