Very nice, too bad Zendikar is rotated out like you said. I think you could tweak this a little to make it standard, make it more creature and proliferate based. You could add tezzeret's gambit and titanic growth, also throw in a few more creatures. (I like signal pest alot, for a two colored infect deck, but that's just me) But yeah this deck looks scary quick.

I would definitely go with phantom warrior over krovikan mist.

You don't always lose life though, like if you get a land or a lotus petal, and a lot of time I only lose one life.... Paying one life to draw another card isnt a bad deal

The goal is third turn traumatize, fourth turn haunting echoes, and fifth turn tome scour and glimpse to win. I don't want to sacrifice speed, so what should I take out for more extraction? I would like to work in surgical extraction.

Check out Defense of the Heart. That's what I use in my Eldrazi deck.

If I get two elfs and a genesis wave early on it works very well. Once I have out like five planeswalkers, it's hard for any deck I've played so far to kill me. I've added bloom tender and llanowar elves and adjusted some things.

You're only going to need 20 land because Reejery and Stonybrook Banneret will get your cards out quick and cheap. I think any Merfolk deck should have Merrow Commerce in it, but that's just me.

Although you could have the chance of getting out two Emrakuls, and having them both die, I think mass polymorph would be a better option. Maybe drop two Emrakuls and add two Stormtide leviathans. Emrakul + Stormtide is a brutal combination.

My brother made this deck and uses Lotus Cobra, it works out really good for him.

Nice. I think that for your purposes, Everflowing Chalice works better than Dreamstone Hedron. I would also do Spawning Breath rather than Flame Sash, because you already have lightning bolts. Eldrazi Monument is also a sick card in combination with Awakening Zone. Well done!

It probably isn't needed, but you could try to work in parallel evolution. It might be able to speed things up in the beginning.

Great deck. I was thinking about making a green/red defender deck with comet storm. What do you think about that idea?
