Going to be honest, this isn't anywere near as good as the last Kozilek. Really dissapointed because I was so hyped when I found out he would be coming back, but this is a let down. Better art though.

It depends... I think he's better in the old formats, where you can dump Grim/Basalt Monoliths combined with something like Thorn of Amethyst.
I know this is probably not going to interest you, but here's a Vintage deck in which the Great Distortion is infinitely better that the Butcher of Truth:

hmm, good deck. I still don't like the loss of annihilator and shuffling him into the library from the graveyard but yes, that is a good use for him.
