Talk about broken... imagine this in a burn deck. Lightening bolt and reverberate can both be put onto the scepter.

Well, since you need to pay 2 to even activate the Scepter, why not imprint something that has an added effect for the extra 1 mana, like Incinerate? Now you can deal 3 damage to either target creature or player, and the creature can't regenerate, all for the same converted mana cost. As cool as that is though, I'd probably imprit Demonic Tutor instead. **Or even Counterspell :D

It has to have a converted mana cost of 2 or less... But the point of this is so you dont have to keep hoping to draw a burn, or an expatriate, etc.

Negate, Essence Scatter, Spell Pierce, Stymied Hopes, Nullify. All 2 drop cancel spells. That's what I would do

have you ever faced an Isochron scepter with boomerang on it that return to your hands every land you put into play? But the best spell i've found to play with it: Lightning Helix!

Years ago this card was the reason I lost a local mirrodin standard tournament. 2 mana, imprint ohrim's chant (pretty much silence), and my mono black zombie deck was hosed. Yeap..

Yeah, this card is nasty with control cards imprinted on it. One guy used this against me with remand imprinted while having eidolon of rhetoric out on the field... He thought it was hilarious.
