Great theme deck, tribal Cthulu seems like it would be quite awesome to play.

Requires Dark Depths.

Fecundity would work well if I were to using the Saprolings as an attacking force, but they're mainly meant to serve as fodder for Fungi and when Mycoloths come into play. Also, I can't use Worldly Tutor on it because it's an enchantment. Not having to pay for the draw is nice, though. I also originally had Sprout Swarm in here, but I swapped it out because I wanted something to give me cheap blockers early on. After I get Doubling Season or a Mycoloth into play getting more tokens shouldn't be a problem.

I looked through all of the non-green fungi for making the deck, and I felt that adding another color wasn't worth using the single card. Mono green gives the deck everything it needs to perform well.

Also, do you mean Conspiracy for Fungi and Sporesower? Because Sporoloth Ancient gives all creatures the saproling spawning ability, getting the spore tokens on them is the problem.

I'll think about adding in Fecundity, although I don't like that it works on other players as well.

I'm also considering adding in Coat of Arms, since that works great in pretty much any tribal deck.

Thanks for the advice.

%20 land? WIth that mana curve? This deck needs some serious work.

Yeah, the thopter combo is definitely a bit overpowered. The deck was actually built because one of my friends was using a cleric deck that would always end up with a few hundred life by the end of the game, and was deemed unbeatable by everybody I played with. But yeah, my friends usually have me take out the Time Sieves and tutors when we play. Whenever I browse through cards I find more that make the thopter combo just so terrible. Day of the Dragons turns all of them into 5/5 flyings as long as it's in play, Sharding Sphinx doubles the pool of tokens whenever I attack. Doubling Season almost made me want to remove Time Sieves completely and make it a B/G/U deck.

Would screw any creature deck over, but it seems fairly weak against most other deck types. Also, how do you intend to win with this? You can't have more than two creatures on the field at once, since both of them are legendary.

Other than balancing it a bit more, there are a couple of cards that might do well in this deck. You could replace Mystifying Maze with either Ice Floe (cheaper) or Amber Prison (more versatile).

Interesting deck, although there could be more efficient ways to use some of the cards you have in there. I would replace Lorthos with something like Chameleon Spirit. Name land as a color, and it should get a good deal more raw power for half the cost. Could also use a couple of 1 cost creatures. Other than that, it looks pretty damn good. Also, congrats on placing in that tourney.

Did you even look at any of the other cards in the deck? It's nearly all deck acceleration, you'll end up drawing around 20 cards a turn once you get a Thought Reflection into play. Just because the deck is large doesn't mean it doesn't work.

Anyway, I'll replace some of the creatures with Worldly Tutors, that should make it easier to get Sasaya into play.

Very well put together deck, black/blue decks are always fun. A little card heavy, but it isn't that dependent on getting specific cards, so that's ok. You might want to consider adding in a couple tutors or some transmute cards. Drift of Phantasms would work well, as you have mostly 3 cost cards, but Etheral Usher would be a good way to get your Roil Elemental out.

I was considering putting that in, as well as another one like it called Falling Star, pretty much does the same thing but it's a red sorcery. Decided against it though, because they function, fundamentally, the same as killspells. I wanted this deck to work in a way that messes with the strategy of other decks, not to just include every weird card wizards has come out with.

Anyway, thanks for the stars!

Nice deck, really wouldn't want to go up against this! Reminds me a lot of the blue/black deck depletion decks. Have some stars.

Nice deck! Chaos decks are great for casual, you don't see them played often enough :P I just uploaded a really similar one, but it's made a little bit differently. Check it out if you'd like.

You sacrifice Sword of the Meek to generate a Thopter token using the foundry. Sword of the Meek jumps out of your graveyard and equips itself to the new token. You do this 5 times, then sacrifice all of the Thopters to Time Sieve. Most of the other cards in the deck focus on taking advantage of the tokens coming into play and getting sacrificed.

Only banned in extended. This is a casual deck, not tourney.
