A new deck, monoblack (almost) this time. Again I'm nostalgia blinded or rather unaware of the new cards and possibilities, since i stopped keeping up with new editions since Kamigawa. So this deck, like every other I play or create will use only cards from Kamigawa downwards, some exceptions may occur with the basic sets though. Anyway, this is an oldschool reanimation deck, with the basic mechanic of putting big fat creatures in the graveyard and returning them to play, all that as fast as possible. For Mana I play Dark Ritual which boost the deck immensly, allowing to play a Buried Allive or a Doomend Necromancer first turn. These two cards also form the basic of this deck. Buried allive puts the big bad guys into the graveyard, this being Arcanis (card drawing), Avatar of Woe (creature destruction), Phatom Nishoba (Live gain and damage), Anger (haste) and the Demon of Death Gathe and the Hypnox (damage straight). The Necromancer and Hell's Caretaker are the creatures I use to bring the big ones into play, supported by Stitch Together. For this card i added 4 Bloodstained Mire and Polluted Delta to reach the Treshhold faster. The Undead Gladiator does the job of getting the big creatures from your hand in your graveyard, by cicling and returning it, adding an additional card you draw. The other cards are mainly supporters to return creatures you need again to your hand, get yourself what you need (Tutors and Entomb), and creature destruction to survive long enough to bring the baddies into play. Plus a black Balthor and Twilight's Call if the game lasts longer than you intend.
