Deck Description

The deck's theme is to throw out lots of humans which interact with champion of lambholt or cathars crusade, and also get boosted in turn with +1/+1 counters.

Any feedback is appreciated, and I know the sideboard is incomplete but I can't think of anything else I may want in it :P

Deck discussion for W/G Standard human Buffing

Why not 4 Champion of the Parish and 4 gather the townsfolk
Cathars' Crusade is to slow for these kind of decks. Meentor of the Meek is better. He will let you draw cards everytime a creature you play comes to the battlefield

Hero of Bladehold is also better. it will give your creatures a powerboost when attacking and doesn't die on whipeflare and slagstorm

Hey Ryan,
Your deck obviously is quite aggro in regards to its mana cost and so forth, and it's looking pretty good. My main issue with the deck (personally) is 'Cathar's Crusade'. It seems pretty expensive considering your mana curve and it's more a late game card, but I feel it doesn't really add to the deck as much as what might be thought. In all honesty, take those out, and one other thing I might suggest is the removal of Riders of Gavony for maybe 'Hero of Bladehold', I just think it's an overly great card which can help you in many different in-game circumstances. And once again, the Riders have a nice ability, but it shouldn't be relied upon, and considering ure deck is creature based, the hero might be more useful...otherwise man it's looking really solid, can't wait to play it ^_^

also, in regards to your creatures, i'd recommend these revisings for the numbers because of the mana curve;
4x Champion of the Parish
3x Mentor of the Meek
2x Mikaeus, the Lunarch
3x Thraben Doomsayer
2x Riders of Gavony
3x Champion of Lambholt
(cuts down the cards by 3 :D)

I kicked the riders out (Although they are nice, they should be sideboarded for tribal decks) and cut down a Mikaeus, which allows me to retain the automatons. I would have used mayor of avabruck, but unfortunately I don't want him to transform and he is defaulted as a 1/1

I have decided to keep the cathars crusades, mainly due to their whole effectiveness but I have taken out the riders. This leaves abundant growth, descendants path and mentor as hand-fillers :) I would have hero of bladehold, but I can't afford it :P

Put the 3 "Cloudshift" in the sideboards along with 4 "Beast Within", get 4 Chrome & 2 Wilds for mana base & U'll be good! :) ... I love the complection of the deck!! I expecially like the use of Path, but 2 Township is enough...
