Deck Description

Please give me some suggestions on how to improve this. It's just a casual deck, but I have been working hard to perfect it. Right now it focuses on getting out a Rotlung Reanimator and a Conspiracy. This makes it so whenever a cleric dies, it becomes a 2/2 Zombie Cleric. The reanimator also makes it so that whenever a zombie dies it comes back right away. Teysa makes it so that zombies die and come back, but also produce 1/1 Spirit Clerics. Every time these creatures enter play, I get 1 life from the soul warden. Archon also keeps my life up while sacrificing Zombie Clerics, and Mother of Runes gives my important creatures (rotlungs, edgewalkers, archons, deacons) alive. The deacons attack and are huge from the Zombie and Spirit Clerics. Edgewalkers keep things cheap.

Deck discussion for Zombie Clerics

This deck looks pretty fun! Teysa is a nice addition especially with the Rotlung and Conspiracy. It's pretty similar to my Cleric deck. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=284586

Yeah, I have had some fun with this, but something seems to be missing. Teysa is especially nice for playing against decks with lots of creatures, but doubling my token output is nice either way.

I always seem to have trouble with speed though. If my opening hand plays out well, I usually win, but when that fails to happen, there is a garanteed loss.

Looking more at your deck, I would suggest taking out the Withered Wretches, Edgewalkers, and Glorious Anthems. I think the Withered Wretches need to go because their are better clerics that you could put in like Battlefield Medic and I would take out the edgewalkers because your mana curve is so low already. The Glorious Anthems seem pretty meh, I'd probably take them out for another Teysa or 2 so you can draw into them faster.

I would also say that if you're going to keep the Cabal Archons then take out the Profane Prayers and maybe 1 Soul Warden, just because do you really need that much life drain/gain? If you were using it to destroy a creature then there are better removal spells; if you used it for massive life drain/gain then look at adding Phyrexian Altar. Phyrexian Altar comboes with Conspiracy and Cabal Archon for an Infinite Mana and Life drain/gain loop.

Take a look at my Cleric deck if you want. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=284586

Sorry...forgot about rotlung reanimator, the combo is Phyrexian Altar + Conspiracy + Rotlung Reanimator to generate infinite mana and tokens and using that + Cabal Archon for infinite life drain/gain

Ok, I'll see about getting a phyrexian altar. I forgot about that. I think I have some battlefield medics to throw in, and there are definitely other clerics to add. I never thought about removing the edgewalkers because once this is playing, it's super slow in terms of mana. I'll try it though. Thanks for the suggestions!
