Deck discussion for illusions of greatness

Well first of all i recommend taking out Phantasmal Abomination, the Sphinx of Magosi, Phantom Beast, Stormtide Leviathan and the walls. Add 2 more Lord of the Unreal's, 1 Phantasmal Bear, maybe even 1 more Phantasmal Dragon maybe even add in some Grand Architect it would bump your illusions and you can play your Empire cards from your hand even though i dont recommend them in your deck anyways. I would recommend taking out Boomerang since you already have 4 Unsummons in and they do they same thing and cost more. Maybe add Phantom Warrior a 2/2 Illusion that is unblockable. Also maybe check out Phantasmal Image this could really help the deck out. Add some Mana Leaks, Spell Pierce and your really set on Diminish id recommend Turn To Frog yes it costs more but they become a 1/1 and lose all abilities where Diminish cant do that.

Just some food for though, i run an illusion deck called Realm of the Illusions and feel free to comment with your ideas on my deck what could work or do better and my other decks also The Vampire Diaries, and Vampire's Decietful Nature.

Really nice deck! The only thing I would recommend is using Grand Architect to help bump up the illusions and maybe another Lord of the Unreal. Other than that it's really good.

I would add/remove...

+2 Lord of the Unreal (This is the key to illusion decks. +1/+1 and hexproof.)
+? Phantasmal Abomination (Great illusion 5/5 defender.)
+? Grand Architect (+1/+1 all blue. Might want to add in some artifact creatures then.)
+? Negate, Mana Leak, etc (Key to illusion decks is control and protecting them from spells. These cards are great counters to noncreature spells.)
-? Boomerang, Remove Soul, Diminish, Cancel, Unsummon (Decent cards, but don't blend with illusions.)
-? Illusionary Servant (Personally they are just worthless compared to other potential cards.)
-? Levitation (I can see the use, but its terrible with illusions. Any enchantment will kill an illusion.)
-? Ice Cage (Your choice to keep it or not.)

Overall...This is an illusion deck, so make it illusion. Get some complimenting spells and some other illusion cards.) Great start though.

take out ice cage. it's useless when you can straight up counter. diminish isn't that great. again, straight up countering is better. get more boomerangs for countering. imo it's most effective by mana screwing your opponent. get 2 more phantasmal warriors. unblockables are great for chipping your opponent's life down.

like others have said, you're gonna need more lord of the unreals. i advise you to get scry and draw cards since you have such a small chance of drawing lord of the unreal. phantom beast isn't that good. 4 for 4/5 is pretty meh considering that it can be sacrificed so easily. levitation is not that necessary. flying is common enough that people have reach and other flying creatures to deal with it.

hope this helps
