Deck discussion for Infect-PLZ HELP

PLEASE HELP!! I am a newbie and am thinking about taking this deck to my FIRST FNM and I want to know if I am going to get killed. I am worried about not getting out fast enough and how this deck will respond to blue control or board wipes. Also, the mana curve is really low and I don't know if that is a good thing or if I should look at putting in a couple of more powerful creatures. I am thinking about sideboarding Go for the Throat and Geths Verdict but I am not sure if I should put some in the main deck to start out. I also thought about Mycosenth Fiend for having a more powerful creature but since it doesn't have infect I didn't know if it work with the rest of the deck. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

FNM is standard, so the Giant Growth will have to go.
Replace with Titanic Growth, Ranger's Guile Unnatural Predation and/or Mirran Mettle.

I would drop one each of Core Prowler and Corpse Cur and replace with 2x Contagion Clasp.
The Wurm's Tooth I would replace with another necropede.
I would also consider losing some, if not all, of the Vector Asp for Ichorclaw Myr.

First strike infect is good, look at Phyrexian Crusader.
Removal of some sort (Geth's Verdict)
Skithryx, Blight Dragon is always a nice big endgame infect creature.

Explanation of my choices:
Infect runs best when it is as quick as possible.
Contagion Clasp will proliferate for you like the prowler, but it is also early removal.
Necropede is also nice removal, and I believe it would bring more benefit than the life gain from the Wurm's Tooth.
Vector Asp can work nice and early, but from what I've experienced Ichorclaw Myr tends to do a better job, even though it comes in a turn later.

Inkmoth Nexus also works wonders if you have any, they are a bit pricey to buy a playset though

I will be interested to know how this turns out for you, good luck :-).

Thanks for the suggestions! I will take out the Giant Growth and I have some Titanic Growth to replace it with. I definately think the Geth's Verdict will be in the main deck as well. My thinking with the Vector Asp was that it was a quick strike and that it would be cheap fodder for the Throne of Geth for proliferate but I will definately try your suggestion first. I want to add the Inkmoth Nexus but just don't have any at the moment. The same goes for the Contagion Clasp but I will definately try and find some to add to the deck. Thanks for the help!

I like the Vector Asp+Throne of Geth idea.
Never ran both in a deck (Haven't used Vector Asp much since my first infect deck), so I'm not sure how well they work together. Should be pretty good I imagine.
Always prefered using necropede for my throne :p

I'll try it both ways and let you know what ends up working better for me. I appreciate the comments and I can't wait to try it out on Friday.

go white and use Shriek Raptors. I did lethal in a single turn with a shriek raptor, mutagenic growths, titanic growths, and giant growths with one of those!
