I don't get it... Too many multiples and cards in general for EDH, and far too few for a battle of wits deck. I am confused...

its not only this deck. its all of burnsmith's decks..--never make a deck over 60 cards unless is edh/commander, or battle of wits. there is no other justification for a deck to be more than 60 cards. ever.besides that, figure out what you want your deck to do. pick a few cards that achieve your goal(a good place to start is 9 different cards. 9 playsets of 4 is 36, which will leave you with 24 lands. tweak accordingly), use playsets, or close to sets, so your deck consistently plays out the same way every game.having a deck of 70+ random cards will NEVER work out. every game you play you will draw different random nonsense and youll get nowhere fast.
Yeah... I have a couple of decks like that, but when I sit down and actually design a deck it is at least semi- coherant in what it tries to accomplish.
