Deck discussion for isochron affinity legacy

Seems like only having 12 mana would screw up the isochron aspect of the deck. The affinity/0-cmc package seems solid, though. :). Also, cranial plating on it's own is really easy to chump block... you may want to consider whispersilk cloak to get through, and then I think a fabricate or two may be in order to help you come up with the right answers while the counterspells and mana leaks help stall. Lodestone myr could be something to think about as well. Hope i provided some food for thought. Good luck!

ornithopter in and of itself is generally enough to get through, and no actually cause pretty early on I can play almost everything in this deck for one mana except for the counterspells isochron is basically to prevent anything from happening once i establish board control, and lodestone doesn't have infinity, so prob won't add, but he does look pretty strong

True, don't know how it double posted, but w/e. I see your point about ornithopter, although I feel like he becomes almost a win-con after that... I have a close friend that's been playing affinity against me for a long time and tried mixing it up a whole lot of ways, & I like your build a lot. I think there's still a lot of answers to the flying, though, and it doesn't seem (to me) like a reliable enough form of evasion to be very consistent. How would you win against a longbow archer t2 when you're on the draw? Unblockable is a complete bitch with cranial plating - it's generally an auto-win. My buddy tested different combinations of cloak of mists, metathran soldier and whispersilk cloak for a while. Etched champion seems strong in this deck too, to me, even without affinity, although i haven't played against it.

I would almost think distortion strike would be better in this deck actually, for one thing it only costs one mana and has 2 uses. The three mana cloak with no affinity is my biggest issue really, as while I can rely on 2 mana I don't want to have to slow down the game enough to rely on 3. I guess I will sideboard it for now
