This deck uses Torpor Orb combined with powerfull creatures to beat down your opponent. Tezzeret is there to try too get the main tool in the deck (Torpor Orb) it can also snag you the massive Eater of Days or even a Phyrexian Dreadnought if you already have a Torpor Orb. Mana leak to stop removal on your creatures and Torpor Orb, Dark Ritual to help speed things up a bit, and if your artifacts are destroyed you can allways bring them back with Academy Ruins. :)

Phyrexian Dreadnaught?

Yes! Thank you, don't know how I missed that one!
You may want to put some normal lands in here since a lot of your lands will come into play tapped. Maybe take out the Creeping Tar Pit and Lavaclaw Reaches since your other creatures should do the trick. Of course I can also see how you might want to wait in case you didn't have a Torpor in you beginning hand. Also since you have some blue in here you may want to add Index or Spy Network so you can be ready for anything coming up and control how your deck will play out.
Ooh forgot about Spy network that would be perfect for this deck, thank you! :)
I also reworked the lands, what do you think?
I like the new lands a bit more, especially those that give combinations. The addition of Dreadnought makes your Academy ruins even better than they are already. You could win a game in no time flat, I'm not even sure I would play against this deck lol
need more fetches, try diabolic tutor, or other stuff.
Threw in a Demonic Tutor and a Vampiric Tutor hopefully that helps thank you for the suggestion. :)
:) no problem. now you'll probably get the orb earlier.
