Deck Description

you wanna know how it does so well, just ask and i'll tell :)

well first off this is not really a stompy but it was the closest red equivalent i could come up with:p

An ideal game for me would be this

t1- mountain, goblin lackey

t2- mountain, goblin piledriver,or,lightning bolt(depending on whether or not they have a creature out) attack with lackey when he hits the opposing player drop a seige-gang into play putting my goblin count at 5-6...opposing player is now at 19p

t3-mountain, piledriver again(bolt creatures if necessary), attack with everything which hits for 17 in all via piledrivers ability, drop another siege gang into play. then play brightstone ritual(if no lightning bolt was used) and play voracious dragon devouring all the goblins for an additional 22 dmg,

or t3- i will drop a goblin chieftain and hit the other player for 27 dmg and if i have no voracious dragon or chieftain...

...t3- i will attack with everything then fling my other driver at the opposing player, or...

t3- i will play piledriver attack with everything and then brightstone ritual and toss a bunch of my goblins with siege-gang... ya know:) whichever options available:)

voracious dragon method t3 opposing player is now at -20 health:)
which is kinda like a double kill:)

Goblin chieftain way puts them at -16 i believe
which is a kill and 3/4 :)

flinging piledriver t3 puts them at -10
which is a kill and a half:)

siege-gang rape way t3 puts them at -8 i believe
which is almost a kill and a half:)

all of these methods kill the other person before their 3rd turn if i go first

forgive me if any of the above math is wrong but i think ya'll get the point :)

I have won some very close matches with the sharpshooter. He can come in very handy in clutch matches!

im gonna sub out warchief for chieftain thanks! hopefully it will speed this deck up even more! chirugeon is a good idea i just cant think of what i would take out for it.

gobs and dragons, they might as well live together, cause they rock socks! i def flike this one!!!

think bout putting in bushwhacker, give all your gobs hastes and +1/+1 for how many times you kick him til end of turn, it mite make your wins faster and earlier :)

i seriously considered him! the problem is that i get most of my goblins for free! the only cards i ever really tap mana for are goblin lackey and goblin piledriver, so his kicker is worthless to me because i dont actually cast him. make sense? otherwise it would be a great idea!

Wow batman. Read your cards. The kicker ability isn't MULTIkicker and it only gives them +1/+0 and haste.

Well first off, this can't be Stompy by definition. Past that though, very nice design. Have you considered Goblin War Strike? It would do wonders for this I think =]

lol i know its not stompy.... but putting it as stompy is way better than... need i say... aggro:P bleh.

goblin war strike was actually in the original design! but what i would take out is the big question....
if you have any ideas for that let me know!

Since you're already cheating cards into play... Aether Vial FTW! Uncounterable goblins is always sick. Also, Skullclamp can slow the deck down a bit, but is absolutely insane card draw in a deck like this.

Well, although it's obviously pretty good in the deck, I think the Vial is better than Fling by a lot. Also, potentially the war strike's could come out. Just an idea anyways. Also, if you wanted 4 of both the vial and the clamp, then you could potentially drop the dragon idea as having the clamp at least gives you a great lategame backup plan besides a super quick goblin assault.

actually now that i think about it more i think i'll add skullclamp over aether vial... the reasoning being that aethervial is best early game and i use allk my mana everyturn for the first 3 turns for sure, so once i was able to play aether vial it would be rather worthless. skullclamp is better late game for the card drawing power! and an extra +1 to attack :)

I'd add assault strobe for the turn 2 attack with lackey, letting you drop 2 creatures from hand and still be able to shoot a lightningbolt for cleanup the same turn. Also, assault strobe will work great for the turn 3 attack with piledriver.

Also: for some tutoring you might want goblin matron to be able to find the siege gang if you don't draw it in starter hand. first turn: lackey. second turn: lightning bolt their first drop, assault strobe and attack - putting first matron in play, tutoring the siege-gang and then putting it to play as well.

i like your idea with assault strobe and lackey which would make him more valuable than instigator by far instead of just a little... goblin matron is a good idea as well, the problem is is that i dont really have any empty slots they can filll and even if i dont have siege-gang in my hand i'll have other goblins i definitely want out..

im thinking about dropping 4 instigator both flings and the warstrikes in favor of 4 aether vials and 4 flame slashes? how does that sound? instigator has only ever slowed me down to be honest.... lol and flame slash is an additional creature control card i could use to ensure lackey getting through... anyway i'll take ya'lls suggestions to heart!

why arid mesa? unless I missed somthing you dont need plains, why take the 1 damage to find a mountain when you could just replace the arid mesas with mountains?

It's called deck-thining. By using arid mesa he will remove 2 cards from the deck but putting only one land to play - making it less likely for him to draw another land in the future.

if you put the Chirurgeon, squee is a good combo with him.
i dont even have to mention goblin grenade :D

Squee is a good card! the problem is that he cost 3 to play rather than 1 which would throw off the consistency of this deck, i know that i could get him out for free with aether vial but still... i would rather get out chieftain, i'll sideboard him though to add a graveyard cycling factor if i need one :)

lol yes he is! unfortunately i dont need him lol i almost always get the cards i need for some reason:p (prolly because i dont need any one thing in particular with this deck to own:D so getting any goblin really is considered getting what i need:p)

siege-gang commander is probably my favorite goblin card to be honest... hes just... so much fun! i love him! but you're right! pyroclasm is beast lol and that is one of the reasons i have chieftain in:) hopefully they wont be able to drop a pyroclasm 2/3 games in the first 3-4 turns:)

holy crap! that thing is beast! it has definitely found a spot if i can work him in!

sharpshooter was in the original make of this deck but was actually subbed out during the last cut:p but i see the combo you're mentioning with alternating a damage with everysac for clickslither:p but im definitely going to try slither out!

however it may be too much for this deck to handle it may have to work in only like 3:-p

Very nice, it does however make me wonder how you'd deal with a burn deck though - if they lightning bolt your lacky turn 1, then your speedy win strategy seems to fall over a bit...
