Hey, I like the deck, i run a similar one, check it out:
http://www.mtgvault.com/buddelsau/decks/simic-standard-50-budget-2/

little tip: consider taking out the biomancer for a cheap evolve creature like experiment one, because it has anti-synergy with undying.

yeah it serves as a light-counter to removal, just as bioshift does on the evolve creatures, you still get to save them counters =)

lol.
I liked the deck, but 600 $ is just stupid.
also, net-decking is somewhat lame =)

well, it seem you dont care about card price, so i'll reckomend what is good, instead of what is cheap and ok =)
play this as mana base:
4 sacred foundry
4 clifftop retreat
8 plains
4 mountain
2 slayer stronghold

drop mastiff and act for reckoner.
drop skyjek for sunhome guildmage or odric, master tactitian.
also, you dont need 8 removal spells. play 4 boros charms and maybe another 2 or 3 searing spears. make the rest creatures like frontline medic and ash zealot.

This is a great idea! I like it very much.
I would play killing wave as a 4-of though, since its core to your combo. also, i dont know how a single exquisite blood will help you here =)

i think i yould rather play diregraf ghoul instead of vile rebirth. ghoul can be used turn one and does not require a creature in a graveyard. deathrite shaman already provides graveyardhate and you dont want to starve your shaman of targets in the graveyards... vile rebirth has some kind of anti-synergy with shaman.

also: swap strangleroot for lotleth troll. its the core of every B/G zombie deck with gravecrawler.

yeah that battle hymn bug is wierd.
hypersonic dragon is a nice card, but it does little in this combo deck.
I have not yet added a deck description (this is still work in progress) and i will repost this once its done. I'll let you know =)

Yeah i know that combo, there are some decks here on mtgvault with it. but i actually like to build standard legal decks (with very few exeptions) for people to play on friday nights. also, standard cards are generally cheaper, so its easier to build budget decks with them.
Also, combo decks are complicated to build efficiently, because they are often slow or fragile, so it needs to protect itself or have means to find its pieces fast (thats why this combo deck here is so great, it does both!).

for the longest time i have played creature heavy decks because i think creatures are the most fun spells to play. only recently i have dabbled in deeper deck combos and non-obvious card synergies. I'll try to figure some out, shape them to an affordable level, and share them with you guys!

thanks! yeah i saw your version of izzet, its more control orientated than mine, but i like proactive spells better than reactive. depends rvery much on what kind of spell you like using, since this isnt supposed to go to a tournament table =)

i like this!
but may i suggest to swap growing ranks for oblivion ring/pacifism? i dont think you will have tokens all the time and then its a dead card. oblivion ring deals with big threads and also works against planeswalker, artifacts or enchantments you dont want to handle.
