The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
OK, I want this deck to work, but I need some serious help. This is wayyyy beginning stages of development right now. The general idea is Phyrexian Obliterator + Prey Upon. Everything else is just kinda filler... until I figure out what cards can make this happen quickly and efficiently. The mana curve is rough, I have almost no 3 drops, and I can't figure out how to make this work best. Thanks!

You got a point about the mana, but I think he's trying to make a standard deck and the cards you suggested aren't. I have to disagree about Titanic growth, yes it's a bigger pump, but Mutegenic can be cast for "free" and imo, that makes it a lot better.
welp, for starts you have WAAAAY too many mana ramp cards. If its casual, id go with cultivates, OR use eldrazi cards (put all that mana to use) or make a wini deck that uses mana to make tokens. making it Green/ blue -- Green/ red might be better also, because green use more agro than black. Giving everything trample is also fun. black: you should go with death touch, but make them low costing ones, then you can have bigger green creatures come and deal the pain. giant growth > rampant growth. phyrexian obliderator doesn't have any real value, since there are many ways for white/ blue to get around it (ie. exile, return to hand, mind controll, arrest) and red will deal the damage straight to you. tourture is also a fun card to have when playing black.
I have to ask, how the hell is pump (giant growth) greater than mana ramp (rampant growth) ?? You say the obliterator doesn't have value, have you ever gone against one? The removal exists, but that doesn't make the obliterator less valuable. Your argument makes all creatures not have a value. This deck (as far as I can tell) is supposed to be standard and it looks like a good start to me.
I like the idea and would hate to face it. Mite I suggest adding the enchantment 'Lure'. Lure on the obliterator is just nasty to face off. You mite also want to add an alternative win condition, just in case.
Mr. Wards, thanks for the input. I also appreciate you going to bat against the other two previous posters... Saved me the trouble of having to tell ZMBZ that all of his suggestions have nothing to do with the deck I posted. And jarrod23 that it's a standard deck and that Mutagenic growth isn't in there for the extra damage. Lure, would be a nice touch, the problem is I still need to win once my Obliterator is dead (since lure will almost surely kill it). I was thinking about throwing in a single Kessig Wolf Run, a Rootbound Crag or Dragonskull summit, and a Primeval Titan. That'll give me an alternative win... Bird of Paradise swinging for 8 trample? Maybe that wouldn't be such a bad turn 7 topdeck after that :-)
Might I suggest using Caravan Vigil instead of Rampant Growth? With the DIsmembers and the Prey Upon, you should be able to get the morbid for Caravan Vigil in order to have the land come into play instead of into your hand, and it opens up that mana for you to use on another spell, possibly another caravan vigil if it was in your hand... just a thought though....
I thought about that, and it might work. The main thing I'm trying to achieve is getting 4 black sources so I can drop an Obliterator then play Prey Upon in the same turn, forcing my opponent to sac some permanents. Ideally, that'd be turn 3 since they'd most likely only have 2 or 3 permanents out at that point. I may switch them in eventually, but the sure thing of Rampant Growth is nice at the moment. Thanks for the suggestions!
