That is an awesome deck! Great idea & pretty budget worthy, too! Only suggestion would be to maybe bring the number of puresight merrow to 4 to enable you to more quickly & easily find your win condition of choice. Awesome idea!

Very interesting, I've been sittin' here looking through your cards. Still trying to understand how it would flow; but I think I have it. All I know is card's abilities would still cost atleast 1 mana & that one card lets you tap or untap target, but you'd have to have one that keeps tapping him, unless you keep attacking with him to get it to fall into the loop. Ok, I think I get it now. Never played endless loops in a deck, so I'm new to the idea; tryin' to learn. But I gave ya' a 10 on Vote. Good job and way to use yer' brain boss!

Thanks for the positive feedback. it works by equipping Paradise mantle to any of your creatures, so you can tap them and float mana of the right color and use that mana to untap them, creating infinate loops. thanks for the compliment.

Well, I was quite inspired by this deck and had to see if it could be done in the current extended format. The only card that doesn't fit the bill is the Paradise Mantle (quite necessary I realize) and the Steelshaper's Gift which is used only for the Paradise Mantle. While I did not find another equipment to work so well, I was able to find Utopia Vow which would essentially provide the same function. Only problems are it's green and can only be used on one target... Still could have quite a bit of potential I think. Mind if I try and create a similar deck using this concept? I'd like to see your take on it as well.

Oh, and Idyllic Tutor could be used to replace Steelshapers gift. This still slows the deck down a fair amount I suppose, but it just seems so cool.

i was already thinking of doing that, and i would be happy to see your take on an extended version of this deck. once your done, please post the link. i'll have to take a look.

Well, I gave it a quick try. I'm sure there are many things I may have missed. I'd appreciate any feedback. The land base was just quickly thrown together. I'm sure it could be done without nearly as many rare lands.

Another green aura that could help is Multani's Harmony (although it's from Planeshift) it costs 1 green

Nope =P

Infinite damage, turns, creatures, life, attack power, and mana is the way to go =]

I'm just kidding. This is great as it is man.

If you use Pili-Pala, you can get infinite mana. You could also use Merrow Grimeblotter to prevent damage.

i no about these combos, but they just arent fast enough. infinate mana doesned help much when there's only 3 mana creatures in your hand, and even then i'd rather be getting off infinate creatures. the other combo is much more useful, but Merrow Grimeblotter costs 4 mana, which is too high for the curve.
But thanks for commenting =)

Do you need 4 Savor's? I can't really figure out what they'd be particularly useful for except as a means of giving your creatures a kind of haste...? Could you explain that to me?

And Springleaf Drum could be swapped for the Paradise Mantles... Maybe go 2 and 2? The Mantles are limited to one creature, but Springleaf Drum can be used by any creature, giving you more options.

And do you need 22 land? Pretty much everything only costs 3 mana... You might be able to cut it back to 20 and still not come up short.

He taps his creatures for mana that he can use for whatever, then using the untap abilities of his creautres to either make the opponent remove cards from his deck or buff up his creatures. He can do this infinately for 1 big hit or making the opponent's deck go bye-bye.

If anyone gets a chance check out my decks. I would love some feedback.

Steelshaper's gift works, but not nearly as well because it doesn't search for training grounds.
