so i created a non edh animar deck and learned something valuable -- high costed creatures just aren't useful enough. so here's the result of my learning.
This deck has been viewed 1,823 times.
lol, they don't suck, it's just you need exponentially more small dudes first when you leave EDH =P My buddy Arty, who's an accountant (i.e. good with math and crap), made a spreadsheet graph thingy for playing things with him. It's freakin' mind-numbing really...

well, i guess they dont suck. their just not usefull enought to outway their cost. i learned that the hard way just before i made this version cause frankly, my bombs only costed up to 2 less which just wasn't as good as dropping a few more weenies. so i dropped it down so now my "bombs" (urabrask and magus of the future) only cost five and that way wont sit in my hand. oh yes, animar can get out of hand very quickly. the main problem is trying to fit in all the things that make him insane in a sixty card deck. it's just really hard to do. actualy, come to think about it, there is probably a perfect mana curve for animar, where if you insert him into that deck and drop him turn three, it should be able to play almost EVERYTHING for 1 or less. ask your friend to try to find that curve. XD
That's what he's doing. Like I said, it's mind numbing differential equation calculus madness!
well, when he finds that perfect curve, PLEASE GIVE ME THE LINK!!!
