Lots of little flyers. Pretty basic stuff, but a lot of fun to play. For casual play. No sideboards allowed.
Play is pretty straight forward. Put out as many flying creatures as you can as quickly as you can, and overwhelm your opponent. Use Counterspell and Oblivion Ring to keep things under control.Comments on specific cards:Judge's Familiar - This guy is great. Play him as early as you can to get the most out of him. Dropping him on T1 will force your opponent to wait a turn to play anything he wants to keep until they can remove him.Jace's Phantasm - Pay attention to your opponent's graveyard. If you see it filling up quickly, then hold this card until you can play him as a 5/5. He's a much bigger threat when the opponent has no chance to ping him off the board.Hypnotic Siren - You'll want to have one of these in your hand if the game goes long and your opponent drops a fatty. 7 mana is a lot in this deck, but board sweeping effects do happen, and this is a great way to turn things around after eating something like a Pyroclasm.Counterspell - The psychological effect this has on your opponent can be amazing. Once they know you're using this card, they'll be second-guessing every spell they want to cast as long as you have 2 available blue mana. I once kept a guy paralyzed for an entire game without having cast a single Counterspell, just by leaving 2 islands untapped the whole time.Lotus Petal - One of the best cards ever printed, IMO. Everything just happens faster when I use them. Don't drop them all as soon as you can, though. 1 or 2 of these can really help out when you're needing to pay for a Hypnotic Siren.
